If you signed up to Health Insights with a landline phone number instead of a mobile phone, you won’t be able to receive the text message required to book a consultation. In this case, let us know in your email or chat that you've signed up with a landline phone number. We'll help you book a consultation.
We'll get back to you within 1 business day. - Choose a date and time
SteadyMD will send you a text message with a link within a few days. Use this link to choose an available date and time for your consultation. The text message will be subject to your carrier’s standard rate. - Attend your consultation
Before your consultation, try to find a quiet place where you won’t be interrupted. Make sure you've your physical ID to show the health professional when the consultation starts. Your physical ID can be any form of Government ID that shows a photograph, your name and date of birth. For example a drivers license. The ID can be expired or invalid.
A few minutes before your consultation, you'll receive a text message with a video link. You'll be able to use that video link to join the consultation on your mobile device. If you signed up to Health Insights with a landline phone number, you'll receive the video link via email.
The health professional will review your test results before the session.

What will SteadyMD know about me if I book a consultation?
A SteadyMD health professional will have your test results and the information you gave when you signed up to Health Insights. This is because one of their physicians ordered your test and approved the release of your results, as explained in detail in our privacy notice. They will have had time to review your lab report before your consultation.
Can I choose a specific SteadyMD health professional for my consultation?
You can’t choose a specific SteadyMD health professional. All SteadyMD health professionals are qualified to help you with your test results.
Can I arrange an in-person consultation instead of online?
SteadyMD does not offer in-person consultations.
Why do I need to show my physical ID?
SteadyMD requires a physical ID to make sure they are meeting with the correct person. The physical ID can be any form of Government ID that shows a photograph, for example a drivers license. It can be expired or invalid.
Do I need to prepare for my consultation?
No, you don’t need to do anything before your consultation. However, it can be helpful to write down a list of questions that you may have before the session.
Do I need to send my medical history to SteadyMD before my consultation?
No, the consultation will focus only on your Health Insights test results.
Can SteadyMD health professionals make medical referrals, for example for screening?
SteadyMD health professionals cannot write referrals. They can suggest specific medical actions or specialist visits but aren’t able to write a corresponding referral. If you need a referral, you’ll need to consult with a primary care provider outside of SteadyMD and Health Insight’s services.
How long are consultations?
Consultations are up to 30 minutes long.
What happens if I am late for my consultation?
If you are late for your consultation by more than 5 minutes, you'll need to reschedule.
Can I reschedule or cancel my consultation?
If you need to reschedule or cancel your consultation, email us at support@insightsgenomics.com. We'll get back to you within 1 business day.
Will I receive a summary of my consultation afterwards?
SteadyMD will not be able to provide a summary of your consultation.
Will SteadyMD share details of my consultation or medical data with Genomics?
SteadyMD will not share your medical data with Genomics. Your medical data includes the contents of any consultation you have with SteadyMD.
Will SteadyMD share details of my consultation or medical data with my health provider?
SteadyMD will not share your medical data with your health provider or any other organization. Your medical data includes the contents of any consultation you have with SteadyMD.
